In Bangladesh, more than half of the people are based on agricultural and livestock farming. The poultry sector is an integral part of farming systems and has created both direct and indirect employment opportunity, improved food security and enhanced supply of quality protein to people’s meals, contributing country’s economic growth and reducing poverty level in rural and urban areas of Bangladesh. The present meat and egg production can meet only 68 and 64% of the national demand. The demand for meat, egg and meat and egg products have been expanding dramatically with income growth, population growth, urbanization and dietary changes. Recognizing this fact, the government and the private sector are working together to solve the problem in poultry industry through various development activities.
For better feeding solutions for even a small farmer; lark introduces small mash feed machines, so that even a small farmer can produce its own feed. We manufacture machines for poultry, cattle and aqua feed in both mash and pellet feed, Pellet Mill Dies for Poultry, Cattle, and aqua & Bio fuels.
Pelleting is a process in which mixed feed in powder form is converted into pellets by mechanical compression in combination with moisture and heat. Process is achieved by a set of rolls and die of suitable hole size and shape. As the die & roll rotates, the product passes through the nip of roll & die and pressed into the die holes to make pellets.
Animal feed consists of different ingredients to make a balanced diet in terms of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and medicines etc. In manufacturing of feed in mash form, there are few ingredients like DRB, Rice Polish etc which are already available in powder form, while some of these like Grains, Fish, GNE, Soya etc. are available in solid form and has to be converted to granular form to particle size suitable for the animal. For this purpose grinding of these ingredients is carried out with the help of Grinder or Hammer Mill.

Double shaft paddle mixer, also called Horizontal Non-gravity Mixer, it is an advanced mixer machine with high efficiency, high uniformity, high intensity and low energy consumption. The machine is widely used for mixing powder-powder and powder-granule, especially suitable for materials with big difference in specific gravity or particle size.
As its name indicates Pre - Mixer is a mixer used prior to main mixer for pre-mixing. We add certain micro-ingredients (Minerals, Vitamins & Nutrients) in feed whose percentage is very low, e.g., 150 gm. in 1000 kgs. If added directly in feed mixer, it may not be dispersed homogeneously in whole batch. By installation of Pre-mixer, we first dilute these micro ingredients in 10kgs, 20kgs Or 30 kgs of any of feed ingredients i.e. Rice polish, DRB or Maize etc.
The first step in pelleting is conveying of ingredients from bulk silos or godown to the batching bins. It is essential to remove oversize foreign materials and iron trash etc. which otherwise can affect functioning of slide gates, gravity /screw feeder in batching or downstream. Pre-cleaning machines generally include rotary sieve, jute remover, magnetic catchers etc. In automatic plants, it is desired that system is designed to give continuous efficient cleaning at maximum flow of ingredients.
